I am Arsami studying in Shafston College. Although there are many things I would like to mention here, I have decided to write simply so that you are able to read comfortably.
At the beginning of study in Australia , every student seems to be motivated. However, unfortunately their attitude towards studying English will be weaker little by little due to the difficulty of English. Nevertheless, Personally, English itself may not be as difficult or complex as we think. In other words, we ourselves must be the key of success in English.
Specific Goal
It is a good idea to set our own goal in English such as passing an exam or understanding the Simpsons so as to keep our will constantly, otherwise we would be lost in the process of improving English and eventually stop studying.
Routine Work
This might be the most unpopular for every student, although it is the very exercise we need. There is no one who becomes a fantastic English speaker suddenly one day. I believe every brilliant English speaker must have done routine tasks like memorizing vocabulary.
Check the Progress and Reset the Goal Regularly
I am quite sure that there are still many questions or problems with English even you keep studying hard for over a year. Nevertheless, they should be different, for example, usually Asian people start to study English from learning alphabets and memorizing them would be a first goal. However, after a month, it must no longer be their goal and they should have another goals or problems like speaking. Consequently, what I would like to emphasize is checking your progress and resetting the goal.
If you read until here, you must be one of the people who strongly want to improve English ability. Therefore, it is obvious that you will see your great result in the future, although it must be a hard way. Should you are in a slump, please remember that is the moment every successful English speaker experienced. Good luck on your study!
